The OEM transmission mounts are a wear item and need replacing after only a couple years of use, due to their rapid deformation. The weakened mounts lead to a loose feeling chassis, imprecise handling, and numb shifter feel. Yet, even new OEM mounts exhibit too much flex to extract maximum performance from your Porsche.
Enter the FUNCTION-FIRST Performance Transmission Mount Upgrade.
We modify your existing OEM trans mount by gutting and draining the dampening hydraulic fluid, placing it in a jig to restore the mount to its original dimensionality, and filling all the voids, top and bottom, with a carefully selected urethane. The result is a rejuvenated and stiffer performance oriented setup, akin to a semi-solid mount – for a fraction of the price. This solution does not alter any structural component of the mount and adds only minimal NVH to preserve a streetable ride.
By limiting undesirable drivetrain movement, you will be rewarded with precise turn-in, planted handling, reduced weight transfer, minimized wheel hop, and direct and confident shifts.

were only $235 for outright purchase.
Yes, original prices when I released the product were as per quoted in that thread. About 6 months later, the price was raised to $265 for the outright buy. Now I'm selling the remaining units for $250 per pair.
I appreciate the feedback, but I give price breaks when and where I can. I'm not some huge corporation churning product out, I'm a one-person outfit serving an already small specialized and niche market.
As far as I know, the price is already the cheapest on the market for a semi-solid transmission mount pair.

I just sent you an email. I had a set of black-colored engine mount inserts installed yesterday and found them too vibey for my mostly street car. Those are coming out very soon. Looking for better control of the clutch on gentle starts from full stop. Want near-stock vibes and noise with best control I can get...error on the soft side, not on the racey side.
