Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

Most of these items have little to no structural value behind them, no real testing of spoilers and splitters from what I've read so any R&D costs should be proportionally small.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Just saw this on the TechArt/CEC website Looks pretty nice. It has been added to my mods list. It just fits over the stock bumper. I am sure it uses the same epoxy my wing caps use.

POST 2Original post

They look really nice, particularly on lighter colourd. Do you how they are attached? Glue, screws?

POST 4Original post

wouldnt be worth the big bucks for me. why not wrap it in the cf sticker?

POST 5Original post

there is a big difference between the 2. trust me this is the real thing. yeah its expensive $1189.00 I think.

POST 6Original post

How much weight are you saving? My white 2.7 diffusers get really dirty

POST 8Original post

porsches4ed, Those techart diffusers aren't talkin to me. Please check out the rear diffusers by Strosek. I think they had a pretty cool one, but not in cf. Watch out CF is addicting! Unfortunately, there aren't many rear diffusers for the cayman, out on the market yet.

POST 9Original post

Crack Fiber. Yes, it is. But I never got a CEL from Carbon Fiber.

POST 10Original post

Man, carbon (aka: "black chrome") Porsche parts are in my estimation three to four times the cost of a comparable Ducati/MV Agusta part. A very high quality pre-preg, kevlar reinforced and lightweight carbon Ducati fender can be had for about $250, air ducts $450, fuel tank $1400. I'm not talking about carbon over fiberglass laid up junk, but void free, unclearcoated parts. Could the marketplace for Porsche carbon be that much smaller than that for bikes to justify the crazy prices? When I see the prices for carbon fiber Cayman parts like sidevents, front splitter, spoilers/wings, mirrors etc. it's breathtaking. Most of these items have little to no structural value behind them, no real testing of spoilers and splitters from what I've read so any R&D costs should be proportionally small.

POST 11Original post

totally agreed! But most of us Porsche owners will pay the price..
