Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

OK I'll bite. What is it good for besides a laptop?

POST 3Original post

I assume this thing is loaded with the PIWIS software. Will it keep working without updates?

POST 4Original post

If that's what he is stating that it is, then it is likely one of the bootlegs running around. While they will work, from what I've seen you can't update them to PIWIS v. 18 although you probably really don't need to in order to use it on a Cayman. These are, of course, highly illegal and Porsche would likely prosecute anyone they found with one, but as I said, I know they exist, I know people who have/use them. Since we cannot promote the sale of stolen goods on this website I would ask that anyone who is interested in such an item contact this person outside of this website.
