Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am the new owner of a 2002 Boxster and it has the Becker 220 Radio in it. The AUX input is already set up on the head unit but I need to buy and install the cable/adaptor. I see some on ebay for cheap and then Stefan at SW Stereo Specialists has one for $29.95. I had read that on some of these (maybe just the ones for the iPhones) need a noise cancellation circuit. Stefan said only the iPhone cables come with noise reduction, Can I just buy the one from Stefan and plug my Android phone it and have music? or for that matter the cheap ebay one? Thanks Mike

POST 2Original post

I bought the one directly from Becker years ago. I think it was under $30. It works fine, without noise. If you don't run power to your device, you should have no problem with audio noise, regardless of whose harnes you use.

POST 3Original post

I'm in UK and I fit an aux cable into the back of the Becker in place of the CD changer. I run my iPhone from this and the sound is excellent (for a Becker that is….). Cable cost me £5 ($8ish).
