Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If not, I used Cartronics to repair mine and they did a great job

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

At all. It seems to work, but no music, phone sounds or anything. Any ideas chaps please?

POST 2Original post

Have you re-booted it? Hold the volume button down for 10 to 15 sec, let go and the Porsche logo will appear

POST 4Original post

Stupid question, have you muted it? Done that before, hit the power button for a couple of seconds and it mutes or unmutes. Caught me out once. If not, I used Cartronics to repair mine and they did a great job

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After being parked all night it now works fine again!

POST 8Original post

The base speakers in the doors have stopped working on mine. Does anyone know if the cables would be behind the head unit/PCM or is there an amp located elsewhere?

POST 9Original post

Depends on options fitted - look in luggage area, the amp is usually covered by the removable section (2 x twist fasteners undo it) Sounds like your amp has failed. Cartronics or Tore @ Begville FX can fix.
