Can anyone recommend the best wax sealant combo to enhance the finish on my Arctic Silver tt.

I'm certainly not OCD about detailing, but I did a bit of digging about on some detailing sites when I first got my 996 and the recommended product for silver paint was Werkstat...
Use anything else.too much shine can a spoil the look

Ive always used Auto glym.
Wouldn't use anything else.Too much shine can a spoil the look.
Deep wash and rub,2 coats and re apply when the water globules no longer collect.
Ignore the overpriced special wax OCD advice.Adds no value,wastes your life away and after all it's paint on the car not gold plate.

I always used Autoglym Resin Polish (Red Label)
Then go over with the Hi Gloss I think it's called (Gold Label)
I used to use this on my White 911 which struggled to show a shine and this combo worked a treat. Easy to apply, broke down any bits of tar/bugs missed and polished off without even breaking a sweat.
I am trying some Maguires at the moment on two metalic (light colours)
Not over impressed as within a week or two the water no longer beads which I guess means no more wax...

Takes a bit more time as it's a 2 stage process (Prime & Acrylic Gloss, though you can get away with just the Prime), but the results are great and the finish lasts for ages... mines still beading well and I haven't polished it for a couple of months.
I clay mine twice a year (Spring & Autumn), then give it a good layer of Prime followed by a couple of layers of Gloss... then it just needs a wash and a dry as and when I feel like doing it and maybe another layer of Gloss every every now and again.

hi jester i also have arctic silver.tried various waxs over the last 7months not happy with results .came across the smart range .polish .wax .and sealer.must admit quite impressed with results put 3 coats of sealer on to build up deep shine :thumbs: happy days
