Got a full silicone hose kit fitted with "F-PIPE" also

Have you checked your intercooler pipes(bottom ones) for any leaks?

If the DV's F-pipe and intercooler are old/orig you should replace with a stronger/new set

I have heard many people quoting that they are running 1.3-1.4 with the same setup as me...

Sounds like your losing VAC somewhere(or a boost hose is collapsing slightly under load if they are orig c/w orig seals) or the wastegates(or one of them) ain't been set correctly.

Hi
My car is running K16/K26 turbos (1 BAR actuators),Miltek and remap by Fearnsport...
my question is the Forge diverter valves have the green springs in and fearnsport could not get the car to go past 1.1 BAR of boost.
Don't get me wrong it is very,very quick but in the back of my mind should i be running the uprated springs in the valves, ie the yellow ones.
Much of your thoughts and ideas welcome..
Did they use a mitty-vac to set the wastegate pressures?
Have you checked your intercooler pipes(bottom ones) for any leaks?
If the DV's F-pipe and intercooler are old/orig you should replace with a stronger/new set
Fuel Pump Regulator(FPR) could also be on it's way out also(not enough delivery)....cheap and easy replacement(use a 5-bar unit).
The seals on the boost pipes can let pressure out also(esp if old units)

wastegate pressures were set at 1BAR.
I am confident no boost leaks at all just thinking of spring pressure in DV's.
I know green springs are good for a standard car. But mine has a few mods.
Are are you actually still running the K16's? What's the story with the orig K16's as they can't easily get past 1.0/1.1 bar. K26 usually went into the older aircooled stuff so it's unlikely you have K26's(although some people have modded these units)
My K24's with 1-bar wastegates etc will hit 1.4bar with 99 octane but you will need the GT2's bigger intercoolers to get close to that.
I seem to recall that the K16's have a recirculation valve on each of the compressor housing's....thats how you can do a quick check.
If you have K16's then your about done at 1.0/1.1 bar. Anymore stress/heat on these and you risk failure.
Hi...Yes i have K16's, but they have been modded by CR turbos with a K26 comp wheel.
The car is super quick dont get me wrong. Matt at Fearnsport says it's one hell of a quick car at this set-up.
