Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

My car had the shock of its life a couple of months ago when it had a Fairmile meet and Maxie's Cannonball Run I in the same week.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Well it was time for MOT again, and sadly my freshly (well a month ago now, but it's been garaged) washed and polished GT4 had to brave the inclement weather to get to the MOT appointment.
I made my way to the MOT station I had the radio off and having not driven the car for a month (and still with Porsche Paranoia after all this time), as I waited at a junction to pull out, I wondered what the strange intermittent whiring noise was.
It didn't appear to be road speed or engine speed dependent, nor did it seem to correlate with the A/C activities.
As the annual service at OPC Cambridge is on Thursday, I had visions of pants being pulled down instead of my intention of just a minor service at £235.
Anyway, I can only blame a total lack of wet use and the morning coffee not kicking in yet, but it turned out it was actually down to the wipers.
Apparently the wiper motor makes a whiring noise every time the wipers are sent off on a sweep.
2,768 miles (since 11/11/2009).
I know that as that was the mileage since last year's service to yesterday's MOT.
My car had the shock of its life a couple of months ago when it had a Fairmile meet and Maxie's Cannonball Run I in the same week. That was over 280 miles in two trips
Next year it will be even less given it will be sharing toy duties with the F-car.
Both of them will be in hibernation from the end of November for three months.
The MOT station where I take my cars ran a book one year on my 911. From one MOT to the next the car covered 26 miles. No one won, infact I was the closest.....
Come to think about it the station is a 5 mile round trip
