I was out at the track a few weeks back (it was 55-65 most of the day) and on my 5th 20-minute session I got a CEL light and a Transmission Emergency Run (TER) light. The car would drive no problem but on upshifts it would bog down like it had the fuel cut for about 1-2 seconds and the downshifts were sloppy. The car would not get into Sport Mode and when I hit the Sport Mode button I got a "Sport Mode Failure" message on the dash. The car has an EVOMS intake, IPD Plenum & GT3 Throttle Body, Fabspeed Catted Headers, Fabspeed race exhaust, and an EVOMS tune. I ran the car on the trade with the modes without the tune once before with no issues. When I turn on the car I always get the CEL light but sometimes I don't get the TER light and the car drives and shifts fine (sometimes the TER light comes on right at start up). Sometimes a few minutes into the drive the TER light comes on and the shifting gets bogged down. I can get in and out of park, reverse, and neutral all the time without a problem. Here are the fault codes my shop read on their durametric reader (they reset the codes and they came right back)...
I'll contact EVOMS and see if they have any insight, but I'm planning on dropping the car off at the dealer on Tuesday. Do you guys have any input on what might be wrong??? Any insight would be appreciated.
The dealer may not take well to your car having a tune. Make sure to tell them it does as they may do a re-flash on you to 'fix' the problem.
check the MAF first if its bath in Oil? they go crazy and not give the proper reading if they are clogged..
the plenum part looks like some kind of air leak..

Yeah, I was going to re-flash the car back to the OEM tune before it goes to the dealer.
Just speculating, but this doesn't sound like a PDK problem to me, it sounds like an issue with the engine's rev-matching. I would check the MAF first and see if an issue there is causing all the other codes.
Dropped off the car at Vision earlier today. I'll know more later on this week.
How did you go, did they get to the bottom of the issue?
