Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Lovely day today so took my Car out for a spin with my Wife and 17month old son strapped into his car seat and 10 minutes into the drive I drove under a bridge and the car got pelted with bricks from 3 lads wearing hoodies! After turning the car round and racing back to where it happened they had vanished. Not impressed and now left with a very chipped Windscreen and front bumper! Really Pissed off but lucky the brick didnt come into the car and hurt anyone. If I had have caught them I think I would have killed them!

POST 2Original post

What absolute C*nts !! :x Sorry to here that but glad yr all ok.

POST 3Original post

Bloody hell! Not pleasant at all and glad no one was hurt. Did you report the incident to the BiB?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes but they just gave me an Incident Number... F##king Useless!

POST 5Original post

If I were in your shoes, I'd go back there next Sunday, (early) and mount an OP (observation post) in some bushes near the point they were standing and I'd wait there all day until they appeared to do this S**t again to some other poor sod. And I'd keep going back every weekend until they showed...'cos they will...the little shits. When they showed, I'd be out of the bushes with MFV (maximum F**kin violence) in a balaclava and give them the pasting of their lives. I'd also be sure not to drive to the spot (ANPR placing you at the scene)I'd get public transport (and wear shades and a hat, maybe a false moustache, and pay cash (CCTV on public transport). I'd also leave my phone at home with a mate - and get him to send some texts on it while I was in my OP. Now, clearly I'm not advocating that you do this, 'cos it's against the law and stuff...this is just what I'd do!! PJ  :thumb:

POST 6Original post

This happened to me on the M18. The youth threw a large stone off the top of a motorway footbridge which hit the windscreen and it exploded inside the car. Both myself and the wife received small cuts to the face but luckily we were both wearing sunglasses. Needless to say I called the Police and the kids had long gone. It must have been scary with the litlun in the car as well but I'm pleased to hear no one was hurt.

POST 7Original post

Simply not good enough. If you are in any way inclined, I would write to the Chief Constable, MP etc. You, or your family, were expectionally fortunate not to have been seriously hurt, or even killed. The youths committed a serious offence and for the Police not to get off their fats useless arses and attempt to investigate further is diabolical. Did you find the brick they threw? Now, if you had been speeding, that would be a different matter....... they would have mobilised heaven and earth to get a conviction.

POST 8Original post

I'm with you bro' :thumb: I'd be right behind you with the two pool balls in a sock to mount any rear guard action after dispensing some summary justice :bandit:

POST 10Original post

am gutted for u . i believe in karma hopefully they will fall off the bridge tomorrow where abouts did it happen?

POST 11Original post

Im soon to be up on a serious assault charge :judge: so cant help out, but i can run them over (In a porsche) if it will help.

POST 12Original post

A similar thing happened here in New Zealand a few years back, when a young chap threw a 8kg block of concrete off an overbridge over a motorway at a car, it went through the windscreen and the poor chap driving along stood no chance and was killed... This act of mindless stupidity was worth a measly 4 years... just pathetic...

POST 13Original post

This sort of ***** really pisses me off. It should be classed as attempted murder as that's basically what it is. Unbelievable that the police don't have the slightest interest but unsurprising as there probably won't be much to go on. For sure though, if you did catch them you would no doubt be charged for whatever justice you handed out in return.

POST 14Original post

So true... I caught a guy trying to break in to a car in our parking lot.. Police thanked me ever so much, said that they knew the guy ect ect. 1week later I was brought up on charges, due to my "excessive" use of force when I made the citizen arrest....?!?!? charge later dropped, though.. but still...
