Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hi all, my driver window hits my rear quarter window when I try to close the door, I've asked my local garage and Porsche specialists to adjust the window. Both failed. After looking at it for an hour I've decided it's the door is dropping about 3mm, is there an easy adjust ment I can do please.

POST 2Original post

My passenger side window stopped raising back up with the door shut, leaving the gap when closed. It was diagnosed as the window motor control module (part of the motor assembly). I bought a used one on ebay and installed it. The window now wants to operate properly but the regulator has too much play in it and will need to be replaced. I'm thinking something similar is happening with yours. Hopefully just the motor, but possibly motor and regulator.
