Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've looked into replacing the front bumper but it seems the paint won't match up nicely.

Front Bumper Question
Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

So I am updating my registration from VA to South Carolina, where no front license plate is required. I would like to remove the plate to have a clean look but obviously the plate has holes drilled in. Any advice for how to deal with this? I've looked into replacing the front bumper but it seems the paint won't match up nicely. Thanks in advance!

POST 2Original post

How fussy are you? If you want it pristine, go to a body shop and have them fill the holes and spot them. A good shop will have a special camera to adjust the color for any fade that they put directly against the paint. Find an honest place and they shouldn't kill you on the cost. Otherwise, fill them and brush touch them but know your eye will find them every wash.

POST 3Original post

There is also a place that sells little hole plugs that just snap into place. BumperPlugs They have Porsche colors. No affiliation and I have never used them.

POST 6Original post

I was referring to what I could use to fill it.

POST 7Original post

For a small void such as this without any bumper cracking I can't see why bondo wouldn't work fine.

POST 8Original post

Ended up going with bumper plugs. Will update on how they look.

POST 9Original post

They'll look fine most will believe they were factory inserts but post the pic for sure. Before I moved to a single tag state I just kept the front in my trunk and crossed my fingers, never had an issue, I was lucky and of course no changes to the front bumper cover.
