Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I use the rear trunk every day, and find that the vehicle relocks itself while I'm still loading/unloading the trunk. The relocking delay is too short. On page 18 of the owners manual, it states 'The relocking time of the doors can be adjusted to suit your individual requirements (4-120 seconds).' This is the delay period that the doors will relock after unlocking the rear lid. However, it doesn't state how to adjust this period, except thatyour dealer can program it. Does anyone know how to do this without having to take it back to the dealer? I've tried searching the computer display functions but couldn't find anything relevant.

POST 2Original post

Kman-went, I'm pretty sure that's a dealer programming thing... save up all your programming needs, and then make one trip... if you have the power seats, they can also program them to be specific to your key so when you unlock the car with your key, the seats and mirrors are set for you... when the other key is used, that driver's setting are ready, etc. brad

POST 3Original post

If you have PCM , many functions such as the locks, wipers, lights are adjustable through individualized memory functions. Take a look at your PCM manual, it's the huge one, and check individual memory options. JHellow
