Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello Porsche Family, Drivers Side Window randomly drops 1/4 in on My 2K Boxster while driving...can tap door or press door panel above inside door latch to correct momentarily until it happens again. Culprit - Micro switch, relay, ???

POST 2Original post

there is a tiny switch in the door handle. You can see it if you pull the handle open. Anyway, either the switch is fautly, or the connection is loose. pull the panel and check. part number 99661312500

POST 3Original post

That part in my door handle fell out. So I use velcro to hold handle closed so that the window goes up.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, sorry so late in my reply, I found the culprit (plunger on micro switch) too much play so I wrapped in with plumbers tape.. so far still working. Thank you JHandy for the part number, I am sure I will need it eventually.
