Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm asking for a friend, can you use the standard seat runners to fit recaros? He has seats and side brackets ordered but unsure about the runners!

POST 2Original post

If you mean the runners on the comfort / sport seats then no. You need the runners for the buckets seats. You can either go OEM or after market for these, after market will need an adaption plate to secure to the car. Which ever way you go make sure you take into consideration how you are going to secure the seat belt buckle because the runners don't have a securing point like the comfort / sport seat runners.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the reply. So he would need to order gt3 hard back bucket seat runners?

I used the design 911 sliders & side mounts in my 986S Boxster - I though they were fine - and half the price of the Brey Krause ones. The have mounts for belt buckles & no modification or fabrication required. http://design9114-px.rtrk.co.uk/fu/prod1496/Seat-F... Edited by edh on Friday 1st May 10:26
