Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Guys Whats your thoughts on the Halfords maintenance charger part No 188946. This one seems quite easy to get hold of, but is it any good. Thoughts please. regards

POST 5Original post

Probably does what it says on the tin, as a maintenance charger. Shows a rating of 0.75A, good for slow charging or maintenance of charged battery, but if you want to hoof some juice quickly into a battery that has gone flat the CTEK has a 3A bulk charge rate, then a (similar) 0.8A maintenance rate. Depends what you want it for really. I went for the flexibility of the CTEK because I'm not disciplined enough to leave it connected before I start to have a problem!
