The car was picked-up today for it's 48k service at Porsche Hatfield and they said it was the exhaust that was blowing they're dropping the car back tomorrow I'm very impressed with the service very efficient, nice people etc + worked out cheaper than some indies.

My offside exhaust is blowing, just wondered if anyone can recommend a place to get it sorted + what sort of cost and roughly how long would it take to do, would prefer not to travel to far say 25 mile radius of Watford?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 4Original post

You could try Hayward and Scott http://www.haywardandscott.com/ I have mine booked in to look at a rattling PSE - I think it has loose baffles. They are able to split the exhaust, repair and re-weld. I can let you know how I get on after Friday Neil

The car was picked-up today for it's 48k service at Porsche Hatfield and they said it was the exhaust that was blowing they're dropping the car back tomorrow I'm very impressed with the service very efficient, nice people etc + worked out cheaper than some indies. After looking into it rather than replace one box and then wait for the other one to go, I'm going to have Milltex boxes fitted at Design 911 stainless steel + lifetime guarantee + a deeper fuller sound which has got to be a bonus.
