Hmmm, I didn't remember if it blinked with the orange markers, but after switching to the clear markers, it does NOT blink. Does anyone know why?

Actually, I've found out onanother forum andconfirming it withmy friends Boxster,US cars do not blink, ROW cars do. There is a hack to make them blink when the flashers are on, but I will not be doing that.

Does anyone know why the US cars don't blink and is it possible to change that behavior? I feel a lot safer if people know I want to change lane.

Chances are a lot of Cayman owners headed to the garage to see what was what with their cars and lights. The only thing offered as a close review of the owner's manual. There are an awsome number of combinations and which stay on and for how long and when the chime is heard, and if car is being locked or unlocked. But, one thing for sure is that when L or R turn signal is on these side markers do not blink, and it seems they should for safety sake. Oh well, defensive driving is the key in the first place, which is nothing new. Please be safe, all.
