Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

About a year ago I purchased a replacement for my HVAC LCD display I was getting the ol' half moon rising effect and a couple of the blocks for the fan speed were out. Well today I finally got around to replacing it. I am not very secure working on electronics but this was pretty easy. Just gotta take your time. The directions and photos are easy to follow. It looks great. I bought my replacement display from a company called Module Master for about $54. Seems like a lot of money for a little piece of glass, but I guess there is other stuff in there too. Any who if you are experiencing the dreaded display moon. It is a pretty simple and rewarding DYI.

POST 2Original post

Cool. I need to do this myself. I have had that display issue for a few years. Can you post some pics please?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I did not take any before pics, but if you already have the half moon you know what it looks like. Here are some after pics.

POST 4Original post

Nice. Looks like I have to replace my AOS so this may have to be on hold. Maybe I should do both at the same time though. I guess its only $50 right??
