Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all, does anyone know how this front bumper is done? It is on a 930. It looks like an IROC bumper, but all the IROC bumpers I see online are just single chunky units, this one seems to work with the upper bit that has the turn lights, washers and side impact bellows.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks like the top but with the turn signals and washers is part number 911 505 011 10. Trying to work out what the bottom splitter / IROC thingy is.

POST 3Original post

Looks like an aftermarket version of a 930S bumper. Readily available in f/g from several USA suppliers.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks OBRUT, like your username! You put me on the right track, I think it is this one ... https://www.gt-racing.com/911-turbo-splitter-front-valance-9-part-48b/

POST 5Original post

Here is another clue Emery, I thought of using the 935 style front look, the deal breaker was not being able to retain the oe washer resevoir. So I chose the 930s design with the center oil cooler. The mfg. is A-I-R, located in Irwindale, Ca. Excellent fit + function. https://americaninternationalracing.com/product-category/porsche/porsche-carrera-930-911/[phone removed]-1989/911-930-race-sport/individual-parts-911-930-race-sport/front-valances/

POST 6Original post

Hi @jtufts356 I'm looking at the same for my WB 1978 - seen it at a couple of places. If you decide to get one, let me know and maybe there’s a freight saving we can share. POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@Bondiscwb I have asked if they ship to Sydney and asked for quotes, will let you know when I hear back. Cheers!

POST 8Original post

@jtufts356 - excellent - will be interesting to see what they quote. Did you contact just the AIR guys or the rest as well?

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 367726

@Bondiscwb -  GT racing was 1,634.95 USD for sending 2 x bumpers $1,020 USD for 2 x bumpers. So approx, 2600 USD divided by 2 is $1,300 USD each ... probably a bit too rich for me. Only other option would be to find a different shipper ... GT Racing are OK with using a different shipper if we find them. Havent heard back from the others.

Try from your end with Interparcel. I have found them about 60% of the US cost.

POST 11Original post

@jtufts356 - if you know the weight and dimension of package, I can ask Interparcel. Thanks @Jaffar for the suggestion.
