Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Morning all, does anyone have a link that shows how to remove the rear PU on a 996tt? I am sure i have seen something somewhere but cant for the life of me find anything now! :dont know: Thank you

POST 2Original post

pretty straightforward really.... open boot lid and remove the light clusters and put them in a safe place.. then undo the posi drive screws running along top of bumper in boot arpeture. you also have a posidrive screw either side facing upwards where the bumper meets the rear wings then under the bumper you have posidrive screws running between the tailpipes and then at both sides below the vents on bumper you have 2 t30 screws that should be all screws now removed and bumper ready for removal remove bumper by pulling it out by the wheel on both sides then you will have a connector to unplug in the middle for number plate lights and pa if you have it..# hth :thumb:

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Porsche Euro, had a crack at it yesterday and was very straightforward. As a man of the knowledge are you clued in on the rear lighting loom??? I am fitting a parking sensor set up and it takes power from the reverse light cable to activate. Am I right in thinking that the blue/black cable car side of the connector is the reverse light line??? Also any advice on a good earth point somewhere in the nearside light cluster housing??? Thanks.
