Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I just did mine last week, swapped out a set (w/38K on them) for a set of RS mounts.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I wasnt going to post anything. But I thought this quick shot of info may be helpful to some.
I replaced them yesterday, They had 143K on them.
It took about 45 min and that was taking my time.
Its a very simple repair
Tools :
floor jack to hold motor while I replaced mounts.
Socket set and 14" extention.
Things I noticed:
Interior vibration went way down
Interior engine noise went way down
No more "clunk" on shifts
And this may be me but the car seems to handle better. The car used to pull when I would get on it. I didnt notice this until it was no longer there. and the "wagon rutting" seems to be better. Could be my imagination
Total cost was 195.00 for the OEM mounts
When I removed my old mounts there was no leak but they were collapsed by about 3/4 of an inch. I noticed my exhaused tips were hanging low and this is what made me look into why...
I help a local indy when he gets busy, I get parts at his cost, he is hooked up with someone.. and I can't touch the prices..
At first I wasnt that excited about his parts offer of cost.... Usually I can find a better deal on line.. But he proved me wrong. He knocks the socks off anything I can find on line.. And he pays to work on Porsches!!! What could be better!!!!!
Did you go with the turbo mounts, or the stock mounts? Apparently the turbo mounts are slightly stiffer, but honestly I didn't notice much difference.
PS--Pelican has very reasonable prices on the mounts ($91.50 each).

Pelican have the mounts at $91.50 ea. I discovered this after paying $164.50 ea for the same part number from Suncoast just a week ago.
I did the install last weekend, very easy DIY, my local P-Dealership quoted $960.
Kyle:
Congrats on the switch over. I just did mine last week, swapped out a set (w/38K on them) for a set of RS mounts. I hope to see the difference this week up in Canada at Mont Tremblant.
Not to hi-jack the thread, but if anyone is interested, I have a set in great shape (no leaks) .....$75.00 (both) buyer pays shipping and paypal. PM me if interested.

I put the exact part number back in. The more I drive it the happier I am. I dont think its my imagination, the car handles better and I suspect the bad mounts may have been retarding my spark via the knock sensor. The car is certainly faster. A faster I feel in the seat of my pants
When I first read this post, I was like yeah right...

The difference is like night and day
So thank you Kyle for posting this. I would't have newer thought that the engine mount's could affect so much
