Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
If its something to do with using the word straight then construe whatever you like.
Leading evidence: 'Use word straight' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use word straight' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just thought that I had to put something in here to let you guys know what a difference I've seen between this forum and forums for ferrari.......
I had a 996 carrera 2 up to two months ago, so posted a few times on here and used to read every day. I have to say that even though I no longer have the 996 (which is tough when I see her every time I go and see my indy specialist - he bought her from me for himself) I still read this forum every day (996 forum-the best!) to see what banter is going back and forth which is all good and fun.
Take a look over at a forum that sounds like Club Fooderia, and it is all agressive and name calling and I even saw one member offering another member for a fight is he was up for it
and all deadly serious! I thought trading up to a Ferrari (sorry, I know in this forum there will be someone along to say otherwise) would bring an even higher sense of achievement and comeradery. Seems to be full of lottery winners and idiots.
I'm glad I can still stop in here to get some refreshing craic!
Anyway, just thought that I would share that with you.
Oh and if I need to make this post topical to make sure it is not moved to general chat or something, erm, what do you think a silver 996 that i saw only the roof of over a hedge and might of actually been a beetle worth? and should I buy it? (tongue in cheek before someone offers me outside.....)
You don't own a 911? Rule 47 :banned:
:floor:
I don't see anything in the rules about actually owning a 911 and since you now have a Ferrari I'm sure everyone on here will want to be your friend
Porsche owning Ferrari owners I find are very nice, so perhaps they are different to a straight Ferrari owner? Andrew take note you cant sell the 993!
Was working on a lovely F360 today and we had a jolly nice bit of banter along the way.
I do agree this forum is one of the most friendly, well mannered without losing its humour.
With that sort of taunt, you're sure to get a couple of handbags rounds the gills! Personally, I'd scratch your eyes out, but I've only just had my nails done.
Anyway, as my camera now only has eyes for, erm, Spidey ...
Well I'm genuinely completely confused. What did I say wrong?? What taunt??
The OP said he found on a certain Ferrari forum they were aggressive etc etc. I dont have much experience of Ferrari owners, but the ones I
do
know
also
own Porsches and do not have the aggressive tendencies described by the OP. If its something to do with using the word straight then construe whatever you like. I made my comments in the spirit of the thread title not to try and make some bigotted inference. :dont know: :eh!:
Well I'm sorry if that offended anyone.
Just a bit of the banter/humour (?) referenced within the thread mixed with a slight at the Club Fooderia fighty reputation.
I wasn't seriously suggesting you had implied anything with my selective quote and I wasn't seriously asking you to step outside for a fight.
I would have thought the scenario painted was sufficiently bizarre to indicate that it was meant as satire. Specifically as its effect was also aimed to directly contradict your other assertion:
