Hi,
I know this has been covered many a time but Ive got to get one ordered up ASAP as my Turbo is going into be serviced MOT'd and get and exhaust fitted too so i need one by the middle of next week.
I'm after a sports exhaust but i just cant make up my mind about it.
I'm looking at a Miltek one but when listening to sound clips on you tube I dont think it sounds that load or that nice. I'd like something with a bit grunt about it but one thats not over the top load. (looked at muffler bypass pipes but have heard there metally load)
every clip i listen too doesnt make me want to spend over 2K on the exhaust. the only one i have found that sounds nice is the REMUS one.

any thoughts from people that have a sports exhausts fitted would be mucho great
anyone around the scotland Edinburgh area that might be willing to meet me and let me listen to there sports exhaust would also be a great help as i have nothing to go on aprat from You Tube links..

The best exhaust BY FAR I've heard on any 996 is a Roock. Unfortunately my friends car is about as far from you as possible in the UK, so a sound check is unlikely.

The build quality is very good, they supply Porsche I believe.
I found no performance change at all and with the roof down it was a bit too loud for a 44 year old with three kids in the car. Took it off and put the old one back on.

If it's any use to you, I had a Milltek fitted to my 996 last year and have been very happy with it. Not too loud or boomy but definitely an improvement over standard, paid 599 for it from a company in Ayrshire. I stay in Kilmarnock if you are ever down this way you are welcome to stop by and hear it.

I think it's the best exhaust by far for the money, unless you want to spend 2.5-3K.
I am happy with the miltek, it has a larger bore with nice bends for good flow.
Hi guys, well I got a and agency power exhaust. all I can say is it's a very nice exhaust 100 cell cats with no cell light. no drone as it's an X pipe inside the silencer and gives me 1.1 bar of boost at 3000 RPM has made my softronic re-map even more aggressive and the sound is awesome too.
I cant recomend it enough and it's cheap compared to the others out there..
I would recommend FABSPEED from the USA. google fabspeed go to their site and select 996 turbo and listen to the clip!!
Guys on a similar note, which is the best exhaust for HP gains?? Im not bothered about noise but I dont want to go strait pipes thats stupid loud.
I had a look at DANSK but found Tubistyle much better - the sound is par excellent - and the quality is A1 - NOT CRAZY MONEY EITHER - CONTACT IS IN RIVERMEADE NEAR WINDSOR

( but beware the c card 3% charge ). well pleased!!!

ps the old ( original ) ones are basically scrap but after 12 years what would you expect....
