If you are having a hard time finding someplace to reset errors, you will probably also have trouble getting the service indicator reset (oil changee, etc.).

Hi, I have just buy a 2008 Cayman from a friend here in Lima Peru. This vehicule has a bumper damage and the drivers airbag deployed. I want to reset the airbag module and I find several places where I can reset it in USA but not here in SouthAmerica. Does anyone know how to reset it ? Thank you Paul

Any Porsche dealer can reset it. Or you could buy a Durametric Cable and reset it yourself. Either way, first you will need to replace the deployed airbag. If you are having a hard time finding someplace to reset errors, you will probably also have trouble getting the service indicator reset (oil changee, etc.). So Durametric might be a good investment.

No, I haven't bought one yet, but I plan to. Maybe a Christmas present. I'd like to get the Pro, but I'm having a hard time justifying the cost. I have noticed that both Pro and Enthusiast occasionally show-up on ebay, and they sell for more than I expected. Even an Enthusiast with two of the 3 VINs used sold recently for about $150 (from memory). I thought that was crazy.

Thank you, that would be a nice self gift for xmas. As you can tell, I have a regular right side impact in my cayman , I am buying all the radiator and condenser stuff from autoatlanta but I am looking for some kind of drawing or maintenance manual to make a good repair. I see some wirings and loosed things that I can´t figure out where they go in that point. Do you know about some information I can download that may be useful? THKS!
