Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You can get a line-out stereo iPhone lead cable as well which will work better because you won't have to worry about what volume is coming out of the phone, it will all be done through the stereo in the car, that's what I'm using for my iPod right now.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I have the small jack aux socket on my Cayman and wondered which lead id required to hook up my iphone for music? Is it a simple Jack to Jack? Or is it an Iphone plug to Jack? A link to a pic would be great

POST 2Original post

A regular old stereo cable from the headphone output on the iPhone to the AUX input on the car will work in a pinch. You can get a line-out stereo iPhone lead cable as well which will work better because you won't have to worry about what volume is coming out of the phone, it will all be done through the stereo in the car, that's what I'm using for my iPod right now. You can also get a Bluetooth adapter to plug into the AUX input and then stream the music from the iPhone through Bluetooth.

POST 3Original post

Thanks, the Bluetooth adapter sounds interesting. I have the Bluetooth phone on my PCM you would have thought that could stream music too
