Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What do you guys think. Too much or is it ok?

POST 2Original post

too much; front looks good, but I wouldn't go with that rear offset.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Doesn't touch the fender. Once lowered it probably will.1 Inch gap as it sits

POST 6Original post

Let me rephrase. Under load will it clear the fender? If you throw the car into a turn do the tires rub against the top of the fender. Sure looks like it would. Maybe its just the angle or my imagination.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

To me its a little too high. Under g load, rollover it doesn't hit. I'm in nyc and nothing hits. Thanks for all the opinions . I just slap the stock 17's Looks a little to cheech and chong ghetto fabalous to me..Thanks all.

POST 9Original post

Sorry I don't like the rear at all. Looks silly.

POST 10Original post

Love it when someone asks for an opinion and gives you dark fuzzy pics. You know how it looks, but it's really hard to tell with the angle and poor quality photos.

POST 12Original post

Nice looking wheels but hate to tell yuh...you have to be a member to offer stuff for sale. $18 and you can't go wrong.

POST 13Original post

Are you going for hellaflush or hellapractical? Can't say I'm a fan of hellaflush, but to each his own I suppose... oOEUQ.jpg

POST 15Original post

Oh, that's actually tasteful compared to what some people do... b2Aw9l.jpg

POST 17Original post

My mom told me if you can't say something nice ...

POST 18Original post

I really like the wheels, but they are off in the rear. What are the sizes and off sets Nice looking wheels though

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I baught them without checking first I purchase them from a indy shop in Mass,I'm assuming their for a wide body. They don't rub the inner wells. Once lowered I may have problems. I'm starting to like them odd as it may seem. Yes bad quality pics, but a few more diff angles..

POST 20Original post

I have to agree that the rears don't look good at all. In addition to sticking out too far, it looks like the rims are too wide for the tires. Fronts look okay in the picture though.

POST 21Original post

Having once lowered my 996 way too much (and now a step back up), I can say from over 8 years of the Way2Low, that as long as the tires don't scrape on normal flat road driving, they also won't scrape when tested to the limit of the suspension up movement. That is because the rear tires do not travel in an absolutely vertical motion. When my car was standing still you could not run even a childs smallest finger between the tire and the body. Yet, on road or track or highway frost heaves, no scraping. However, I agree that the offset of the these particular rears is way too much, and you actually do need wider tires on those rims from the shape of the sidewalls.

POST 22Original post

add some camber when you lower it and it will look better. Nick
