Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have a 2009 with Sound Package Plus, PCM 3.0. I'm using the stock 2-plug connector to connect my iPhone to the iPod connector and the USB power. The volume is substantially lower than the radio or other sources (as is the case in most cars with iPod connections). I couldn't find anywhere in the manual to set default volume levels for each source. Just wondering if anyone knows a workaround to get the iPod's volume on a par with the radio?

POST 2Original post

It may be the setting of your iPhone. You may want to give this a try, Go to settings, then iPod, set your EQ to loudness and make sure your volume limit is off. Also the volume on the iPhone should effect the sound coming out of car radio. If you raise the volume on your iPhone the volume coming out of your radio should increase as well.
