So I have the factory PCM and considered changing for the new Pioneer unit I just put in my FJ ( to replace the Alpine) but decided against changing the OEM look but wanted HD Radio which I really like.

What an adventure! So I have the factory PCM and considered changing for the new Pioneer unit I just put in my FJ ( to replace the Alpine) but decided against changing the OEM look but wanted HD Radio which I really like. So I have the MoBridge which works amazingly well for iPod and BT displaing everything etc. MSFT sent me a 32GB Zune HD, actually a few as part of our partnership program and I decided to check it out instead of re-gifting at XMAS. The Zune HD is a really nice piece of kit and it has a HD Radio tuner. So I thought I would bring it into the MoBridge as a AUX ( there are two and one is SAT) So I wired everything and unfortunately the antenna was lacking. Instead of ripping everything out I went to Frys and found for a whopping 29 dollars the JVC HD Radio kit which was amazing considering it came with tuner, remote and car kit. It uses the cars antenna and interrupts ch 88.1 so I control it from the PCM. My glove box probably radiates but I must say I have every media source I can imagine available and I even used a repeater and a programed mini remote so I can control the SAT without opening the glove box. The reception is very good on the HD Radio and everything is hidden and out of sight.
