Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

My 2007 vintage 9500- bought on the first group buy- started having audio issues. I sent it back for repairs and upgrade to most recent version. I was in a hurry - sent it USPS with no insurance- stupid move- computer at UPS store was down. The box arrived at Escort- according to them- taped shut and intact. This was a really dumb move move on my part and I knew that I screwed up from the start. With the name "ESCORT" on the shipping label it is no mystery to a thief as to the contents. Apparently USPS has plenty of thieves working for them. I have been out of the loop for a while chasing old audio equipment and rare guns. Anybody like the Red line??Any deals or group buys presently going on? I have one or two old units that I could trade. Sorry that I am not up to speed.

POST 2Original post

Escort is currently running a trade-in program that will get you up to $80 off on the purchase of a new Escort detector. The Redline is supposed to be a nice unit, but does not have GPS like the 9500 series does. Its main feature is dual antennas, which is supposed to give it crazy long detection range. It is the same price as the 9500ix.

POST 3Original post

Thanks- I was hoping that there ws a group buy in process that was better than the trade in. Hope you are enjoying the 09

POST 6Original post

Thanks GB- I will be going that route in the very near future. Side note- I was buying some tires at GMP in Charlotte. A guy at the counter said he knew you. The subject came up in a discussion of exhaust systems.
