Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 996.1 is, for me anyway,is just about perfect. apart from one thing. It has ruffled leather. It's not hideous by any means and is in lovely condition, but I'd rather have normal leather or better still, sports seats. What are the chances of finding some nice sports/standard seats in metropole that won't cost the earth?

POST 2Original post

I am refurbing a pair of metropole sports seats now, adding new foam and heating elements and painting the backs. I have a second set currently in a car which I will be selling at some point in the future, although I may decide to refurb first. Non-heated seem much easier to find. I have a set of non-heated standard seats currently in my C2 which I will probably sell when the sports seats go in. MC

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. I'm not fussed about heated or electric adjustment as mine have neither. I suppose I'd need backs as well to keep things looking correct.
