Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I know its just a kit but .. whats you thoughts with the 997 and 996 starting to be real value..maybe its the new hotrod trend ?
not quite RWB.. saw this on a facebook fed , I dont mind it
Its a 996 but maybe 997 is next... Just go all out as they do in Japan with a road registered cup car... looks a bit hard to drive

A few plastic panels & wheel spacers doth not maketh a hotrod I say... I need more
@symsy
...
And as per other comments, not sure it looks that great either.
Quick here's a picture of some real Porsche type chaps discussing the merits of right v left handed screw threads whilst enjoying a pipe...
No modification nonsense here please.....
I love the CSR look. Trying to achieve something similar myself, although probably minus the ducktail to keep cost down. And will use OEM bumper and side skirts rather than the carbon ones on the CSR.
Just buy a 996 C4S, Porsche already did the "hotrod" 996 coupe. No ugly holes in the side or superfluous rear wing. A handsome fat arsed, clean, un-cluttered, classic shaped ride (I may be biased).
Find a bit more grunt, drill some holes, add some stickers, sand paper the steering wheel & seats (= patina), badabing I'm the new Magnus Walker. Job done. Next.
for some reason the front doesn't seem to be built well . kinda wavey? isit meant to be like that?
There is a RWB 996 -

Which i'd prefer the look of, if you're going to go that route, go full japanese.
Also there's no doubt 996's will be the next hot rods platform, everything else is too expensive to tinker/mess with.
I love every aspect of the 996 C4S other than the front end. I may be alone in this (and am definitely in the minority) but I prefer the 996.1 front end (especially with a GT3/Aero bumper)
I dont see much value in the 996 C4s compared to the standard 996 02 onwards carrera, other than it wears the C4S badge. All that was extra on the car (and I may miss something - Lower suspension?) was S brakes, turbo wheels, turbo front and rear "under bumpers" , and one of the most important parts that makes a C4s - a wider body that is barely noticable, especially compared to the wider bodies in relation to standard on previous and post models. No performance uprade with the engine at all. Not particularly rare, 11 on carsales atm. My cashola would go to the standard 996 for the 30% saving.
