Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Evo intake awe exhaust and remap ecu. What gains should I expect?

POST 2Original post

I'll tell you what you can expect, a whole lot of people telling you to search..... This is a very common setup. Take a look around.

POST 3Original post

hahaha! Yeah good answer! make me work for it! lol

POST 4Original post

Some search results of threads that I think you'll find interesting. That is a winning combination. http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-modi.../cayman-modifications/11398-performance-modifications-continued.html#post137141 http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=3&cat=4 http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-modifications/13032-question-k-man.html#post156832 http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-modi.../cayman-modifications/11398-performance-modifications-continued.html#post136963 (this one is a fabspeed, but they perform almost identical to the AWE) http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-modifications/7832-another-awe-install.html#post91041 http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-modifications/13760-you-dont-know-what-youre-missing.html#post165018

POST 5Original post

Thanks! What else can I do to get some power but not void any main warranty? I wish I could do a turbo! cant wait to get 50k on my car lol Im getting there im at 2017 miles

POST 6Original post

Anytime. That is acutally a tricky thing to search for because both AWE and EVO are three letters and will kick an error. I searched for: +"AWE" +"EVO" +GIAC The Cayman is pretty dialed in already. I think this is about as much hp as you are going to find without getting crazy (super charger, turbo, nitrous, etc....). I think you're headed down the right path because these items will make noticable improvments and they will also work well with the ultimate mod, the X-51. POST 7Original post

Apr Dyno your car before you do anything trust me. Cayman S has anywhere from 218HP to 268HP to the wheels from the factory. Then after you add parts dyno. Here is a good place to start APR - Engineered Performance for Porsche® Vehicles

POST 8Original post

You can upgrade to a 3.8L. The engine will be covered by Porsche on a separate warranty ... and you will get lots more power. One of our club sponsors would be happy to help you, I'm sure.

POST 9Original post

There should be some kind of sticky or spreadsheet of the systems that have been reviewed by members. Lots of good info, but you have to search around a bit to find it. I can't think of any I would avoid, maybe milltek but all the systems make some power or enhance the sound or feeling of the car. Personal preference is probably the deciding factor.

POST 10Original post

Wow X-51 sounds like fun. Big bucks though! But I have spent money on dumber things before LOL
