Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

the short of the story is with the impending move... and garage cleanout... I am sorting through some parts and frankly not sure if I should keep it, sell it, or simply let it go. The PO of my 40AE swapped the clutch/flywheel assembly with the sachs/assco unit (LWFW). So I have a stock flywheel with around 40K on it. He kept it, though I am not sure why. Should I try to sell it? Or given the ubquity of these parts, just let it go? Is there any reason to hang onto it for "original to the car" reason that I don't see. Thanks R'listers.

POST 2Original post

I would keep it if it is in good shape. It could come in handy if you need a new clutch and decide to go back to DMF.

POST 3Original post

I'm actually looking for a good used stock clutch set for my '99. Do you have the rest of the parts or only the flywheel? Maybe we can make a deal.

POST 5Original post

I would just give it to Imo000.. no affiliation other than stalking his great 1999 rebuild thread.
