I run 3.0* in back with et 60-63 rims and i dont think its 12mm in from the stock position.
Leading evidence: 'Run 3.0* in back' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run 275 front' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
If thats powderhound's car, he does run a 275 front on a 10' rim and over 4* of camber in front with steering stops.

So an 8.5" rim et53 is max....u should be able to use a calculator to figure out a different rim.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you are calculating clearance for a tire and rim camber can make a difference. I did a rough calculation using law of cosines estimating an 18-in rim and got approximately 4 + millimeters per degree of camber. Does that sound right?
Stock position should be around 1 degree? So you would be 2 more. I can see some camber there for sure. What size tire?
I'm wondering because I'm going to build my rims one of these days, don't hold your breath, so I have time to calculate. I've been looking for wheel visualizers and they're all kind of primitive. They don't have an option for camber. Have you seen one that factors in camber? Whatever I do I want to try to get close enough on sizing that I don't have to do too much with spacers or Body Works. Plus I was planning to do a more appropriate alignment. Not full race but this is not a commuter, that's for sure.
And, while I'm at it, what's up with the flush look versus the real deal stance? I like flush and all but these guys aren't even close and it is so rowdy. looks like they've got room for more wheel and Tire if they wanted to. Are they limited by regulations? Is this faster?
So 4mm from the centerline. Im just saying if u lower the car and add 3* a 18x11 60et wheel is pretty much perfect as it tucks up into the wheel well. I do have adjustable dog bones on top but i have never messed with them or measured against stock with shimmed gt3 lca.
I have several et front apex and oz wheels. They r all 8.5" wide and the apex should be et45, i add an 8mm spacer and its very very close to the rolled lip, 1 oz set (et52) gets a 15mm and the other gets no spacer (et40).
I run tarett camber plates all the way in at the top with shimmed gt3 lowers.

Put a level perpendicular to the ground and up against the bottom of the tire. At 3 degrees top should be about 33-35mm farther inboard than the bottom. If you are adding the camber with the control arm the clearance to the strut does not change. Shortening the upper dog bones reduces that clearance.
Good idea. I think it's one degree from the axle so only 9 in radius gives about 4 mm in at the top edge of the rim. 4 mm out at the bottom. 5 mm or more at the top of the tire depending on tire diameter. Am I thinking right?
But I'm wondering is how these 10-in rims with 275 tires fit so nicely. Can't tell what the camber is but doesn't seem like a lot. I'm not planning on 275, not necessary for sure. But how did he do it?
If I knew how he did it I could calculate what the options are.
Well thats a turbo and they dont look like 275 on a 10" rim. I would guess those r perelli 305 or 325/660/18 tires on an 11" rim. They only make a 275/695/19 and i guess thats possible but doesnt make any sense that they would put that tire on a track car unless u r talking about the front tire?
If thats powderhound's car, he does run a 275 front on a 10' rim and over 4* of camber in front with steering stops. His car is 100% track car with a ton of money and tech stuffed into it to make those tires work
Those rIms r also 3 piece and the lips can be fitted to get it the way u want if u have the $. Spacers can also be added in any size up to 20mm.
there r many online calculators to figure out offset (et). U can put in a know size and play with the numbers to get a different rim to have the equivalent et.
Yes, powderhound is correct. Good eye. Amazing detail on that car.
My impression is that the front of a turbo is the same as a narrow body.
As I remember they were 275 on 10 in fronts. That's what I am thinking about. Maybe just for academic reasons. I kind of wonder why it works for some people but not for others. By the way, he says there is no way to do a 10 and 1/2 in the front. I think that pretty much settles that.
You are right, the back Wheels are bigger. 335 on 12s I think. Doesn't really help me as much to know offsets on the back since turbo fitment in the back is different.
There are lots of offset calculators but the weird thing is none of them have an input for camber. Seems like that wouldn't be so hard. I looked around but I didn't find any that have camber in the formulas. By my calculations, and I'm no engineer, Two degrees of increased camber can make a difference of 10 mm or more at the top of the tire depending on tire diameter. That could put a tire inside enough to be usable.
Like i said in an earlier post... my front 8.5" x 18 et45 rim with a 245/40r18 tire and an 8mm spacer with 4* camber....with the shock moved all the way in on the slots is as close as it gets to the sheet metal on a rolled fender.
So an 8.5" rim et53 is max....u should be able to use a calculator to figure out a different rim.

Every car is a little different thats why no one will "tell" what will fit
That's a great fit, doesn't look bad at all from this angle and easier to see than in the other photo that you had. Thanks. Are you running high camber or did you have some sheet metal pulling done?
