:dont know: £420 for a years cover on engine and gearbox isn't bad BUT What 'single claim' limit have they specified? The £50 maximum claim for brakes and for electrical problems isn't really worth having. Classic case of " you pays yer money you takes your choice".

Yes its low cost but the level of cover is pretty low too. As has been said the brake and electrical cover is practically worthless in Porsche terms. There are two other things you should consider. 1) depending where you live the £45 labour rate is quite low for good porsche service and less than half an OPC.2) Depending on the age and mileage of your car there is a betterment contribution you will be asked to make on each claim. That said if you are taking it because you are nervous of a large engine or gearbox problem then at least this might soften the blow. Also as said I dont really think this policy is deigned with Porsche in mind.

As they say, you pays your money and take your choice. I went with warrantydirect for the TT. £875 but claim limit is the value of the car, and up to £200 labour rate per hour !!! Pointless figure but at least I can get the repair done where I like. I dont know of any good Porsche spanner man who works in the £45 per hour mark?? Personal view is that this warranty is for run of the mill euro boxes.
