Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Not exactly the repair where you want low bid, that will usually result in a much higher cost being paid later.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello all,
Can anybody help a newbie find an affordable Porsche Mechanic in the Dallas, DFW and surroundings areas?
I just got an porsche that needs an engine rebuilt. I already have the parts, but Im having trouble finding an affordable mechanic.
Any help its appreciated.
thanks a lot everyone.
Rebuilding a Porsche engine ? Not exactly the repair where you want low bid, that will usually result in a much higher cost being paid later.
Call John Gladwell at Boardwalk.
Im making some calls today... Im hoping to get a good engine with the 2 I have.lol
The one on the car got over heated and the block bent, and the other I got has the left casing cracked. So If the casing on the over heated one is good, than I think I have a good engine...
thanks a lot for all your help. Which you guys recommend most? RAC or Boardwalk in terms of pricing and warranty?
thanks
Does Todd work/rebuild street cars? I had the RAC (then Ruf) guys work on my car for years when I lived in Dallas. Great bunch. I also used John primarily when I got the GT3. So I can recommend both of them. Oh, and Todd did some work on my car (GT3) as well, but mostly "get it working so I can drive it on the track right now" kinda work.

You might consider Danny Blaylock at Silent Automotive in Austin.
His rates are very reasonable and he has rebuilt numerous M96 engines.
He owns a shop in Austin, since he is deaf, he can be contacted via txt. [phone removed]
or send me an email

and I can get you in contact with him.
