Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T165820Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Need to pick up a set of wheels 2 hours away and would rather take the Porsche. Can I fit 2 in the back seat of the coupe and two in the passenger seat?

POST 2Original post

I can't see it happening with the tires on. Plus even if you "could" why would you 'want" to?

POST 3Original post

The two rear 18" rims will fit in the back, and the two fronts will fit in the passenger seat. It will be "ugly", but doable. Take blankets to wrap them in, though. relinuca

POST 4Original post

There's someone on RL that has managed to put 4 wheels, tools and a wife in a C4. If you do it, take some pictures, I'd love to see how you fit them. I'd like to do the same for track wheels/tires.

POST 5Original post

Rims only, with no tires... probably fit as described above. With tires mounted? No way. Even if you removed the passenger seat and the rear seat backs & squabs I think it would be too uncomfortably tight & result in damage somewhere somehow. If you can borrow a 944 from someone, then you can transport 4 wheels in a Porsche no problem. :-)

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've done 4 x 19" rims without tires before no problem. I guess I should pickup a roof basket.

i've done this several times. https://rennlist.com/forums/autocros...ml#post7926967

POST 8Original post

too funny. I dont know about the wheels, but I can get one Fender strat, one Takamine acoustic (in cases), two Korg keyboards, (M50 and X50 in groove bags), and a gig bag up front in the trunk...and still pass the ninja bikes comin' out of South Beach at 3am.

POST 10Original post

Yes. I have done it with track tires/wheels a few times. One trick was on the the driver's seat to put inside edge of wheel facing shifter for some space. I used "Tire Totes" and some towels to protect the interior. A hassle and time consuming...now, I have better method.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

awesome, i'll give it a go, didn't think 1 would fit in the trunk.

Yes, but you need to deflate them. AWD cars won't fit anything in the front.
