Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cross posting for more exposure. Can anyone help identify what these rims are? They are on my 996 C2 and are 19's. I just purchased new 18's and these need to go. I just dont know what they are and need to figure out a price point with tires.

POST 2Original post

They look a little like these... http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...lDetail&id=179 Are they HRE (aftermarket)?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They are definitely aftermarket but I cant find any markings on the inside. They do look just like those in the link you posted.

POST 4Original post

Porsche didn't offer 19" wheels as an option for the 996. These do appear to be aftermarket wheels. I'm not sure of the brand. I don't think they are the HREs listed above - if you look at the center of the wheel near the bolts it's not the same. Are there any markings inside the wheels that might give a clue as to what they are?

POST 5Original post

Haha... your post didn't show up until I hit enter. So no markings...

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

LOL...thanks Dennis. Yeah, it is indeed a mystery without any markings to by. I went back to 18's to more in line with factory specs.

POST 8Original post

They are a SSR GT3 Replica. True SSR's have a flatter and narrower set of spokes

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now we are onto something. Thanks Tim! True SSR's look to have five holes around the lug face as well so mine are definitely replicas. Now I have to figure out how much they are worth.

POST 10Original post

Yup! Look on Ebay and you will see the new price. Of course the "worth" is augmented by the tires to. Good Luck!

POST 11Original post

Look like some SSR knockoffs to me; check the inside - real ones say Made in Japan on them.
