My 02 4s has the '05 remanned motor with the bigger bearing etc (going off the serial number) and I'm kind of curious what else got replaced with the new motor back in 06.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've been reading up on the warranty 3.6L replacements - what all did the dealer swap out when doing the warranty replacement? New compressor, mounts etc? My 02 4s has the '05 remanned motor with the bigger bearing etc (going off the serial number) and I'm kind of curious what else got replaced with the new motor back in 06. Any insight would be appreciated!

POST 2Original post

Dealer won't do a 3.8 swap. They usually do a like for like replacement. Unless you know people you wouldn't even get a 3.6l for 3.6l X51 swap.

POST 3Original post

Includes: new alternator, starter, headers. The AC compressor is NOT included.

Whoops I'm an idiot, meant 3.6L swap.

No motor mounts? Also do the factory refurb motors come with o2 sensors?
