Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

PSE is kinda rare, does it have the loud/quiet button or is this installed by owner.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looking for your opinion on the pricing of this car. Nicely optioned and in decent shape. Had a small crack on the front bumper (looks like it hit a parking curb), some scratches on the drivers side kick plate . It handled and drove well. Felt very tight and not one rattle when we were out. I think I might go back for a second look and set up an inspection and leak/compression test.
Exchange rates and the relative availability of Porsches will make it difficult for anyone in the US to comment accurately on price.
The car seems nice enough.
PPI, PPI, PPI.
Yeah. I haven't been watching prices really closely but it's seems like a pretty good starting point. eg, the seller may not want to negotiate much.
Definitely get the history on the car and then pick a place for a good PPI that's not affiliated with the sale. The car could still be in really good shape beyond 100k (as my car is) or it could be trashed.
Thanks guys. The car is in ontario and I have already talked to the guys from autowerks to do a ppi and leakdown/compression test. The few minor cosmetic issues can be taken care of. If everything checks out with the ppi I may be the owner of my first porsche
yeah PPI... that bumper/hood gap is kinda big. PSE is kinda rare, does it have the loud/quiet button or is this installed by owner. Post the option code to see if these are factory installed.... if so, sounds like a sweet car. Option code is stickered under the hood.
I'll check the pse. He didn't mention the loud/quiet button. I wasn't even aware that was possible. It is loud though. I noticed the hood x bumper gap too but this is the first one I have looked at so I wasn't sure if that was normal. Would anyone know what a normal hood x bumper gap is? 6-7mm?
PSE has a butterfly valve that is actuated via vacuum that has quiet/loud button... without the electronics, it is defaulted to loud mode... I find the option of having the choice is priceless. Yes, gap should be 6-7mm... The pic just may be an illusion since the bumper cover sits higher than the hood for aerodynamic/noise reasons.
Button looks like this...
