Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, Just changed my brake pads and roters, and I realized that my front left brake is rubbing pretty bad. What should I do? Rebleed? Caliper Rebuild? Cheers ):

POST 2Original post

sounds like a piston or 2 might be hanging up in the bore and not retracting all the way. Solution is to remove the caliper and clean any spent brake material and debris that has bonded to the pistons. Bleeding should not be necessary for pad and rotor change only if air has somehow entered the system. GL

Drive the car around the block and then use the e-brake ONLY to bring it to stop. Then check to see if the pad is rubbing.
