New Member Had an account since Dec last year (posted pic then!), which is when I purchase my 1st Pcar, 1999, 996 C2 Cab. Lots of great info posted on this site that can save a lot of money and instil a lot of confidence that you can work on these cars. So far I have -Exhaust mod (fisters stage 2) a buddy of mine has been doing custom exhaust and help me out, OK I watch as he did the welding, and almost everything else, but I love the new sound! -CD storage delete with open bin storage, factor the labour charge at a dealer just for this and the membership fee�s already put me ahead somewhere in the neighbourhood of $50.00 -Air filter change, if you can work a screwdriver this is about a 5min job, if you�re new to the screwdriver 7min -Oil and filter change, word of advice here is it comes out fast and there�s lots of it! Old oil looked great very very little and very very small shine flakes that were non-metallic, in bottom of my oil drain pan, nothing at all in the filter. Blackstone oil test came back stating that they were very impressed and that the PO must have taken care of the car well. Next on the list, spark plugs! Little nervous about this one but might give it a shot. Thanks for all the help guys well worth the $17.00!

That's a good tip, being a paid member allows so much access to lots of DIY pics and posts. So many mods or fixes are fairly simple to do, just takes a bit to get started and that's where Rennlist certainly helps with all the shared information. I haven't done plugs yet either.
