Suggestion

You can replace the outboard OEM seatbelt bolt with an eyebolt to snap the outboard lap belt on, and brey-krause makes an adapter that you can put on the inboard seat belt side to snap the inboard end lap belt on.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Those of you with the euro gt3 seats. The seats come with these weird wedges and threaded adapter things for mounting harnesses. I sold mine awhile back because I didn't think I'd ever put harnesses in my car. Well now I am; does anyone know where to get them from? I think they are parts 996 521 925 90 996 521 927 90

POST 2Original post

They look like they are available at the dealer. Here is one, but Sunset, Suncoast and others usually have better prices, http://www.autoatlanta.com/Porsche-S...652192590.html

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

wow...that is an expensive bolt. thanks

POST 4Original post

Note that there is a left and a right P/N, I think one side is thinner. Yes they are pricey.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

really wishing I hadn't sold my old ones with that seat I sold...

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I originally bought a GT3 seat single, then bought a pair, and then sold the single. Along the way I bought some brey-krause side plates for the driver side, and then sold the original driver side plates with the single seat that I sold. I am pretty sure I sold this hardware along with it. Unbeknownst to me I gave that dude the deal of the century because at the time I didn't ever anticipate going to harnesses. So now I'm in a pickle because my passenger seat is all OE porsche stuff but is missing the outboard hardware ($255 for OE). My driver side doesn't have the square holes because they are Brey-krause. I was really not anticipating this being so hard or expensive. I had forgotten I had sold some of this hardware. To put it all back to OE I'm looking at: 3X mounting fasteners $765 driver side OE side plates $395 and the harnesses 2x $1098 so $2258 just to put the factory harness setup in the car. crazy

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I guess the WAY cheaper route is get the rennline attachment points 4x for $144 and regular Schroth Profis for 2x $798 for $942 total

POST 11Original post

Or put anchor points in the body with backing plates. The PO of my 2002 had this done, I think the receipts were in the low couple of hundreds, done by a Porsche indy race shop. I did it myself in my former rally car and buying from racequip or someone like that, I probably spent well under $100 in parts.

Same here - mine go through the floor with backing plates.

That's how I did it to my race cars. Just make sure that the bolts don't stick out below very far. They can catch going on or off the trailer.

POST 14Original post

You can replace the outboard OEM seatbelt bolt with an eyebolt to snap the outboard lap belt on, and brey-krause makes an adapter that you can put on the inboard seat belt side to snap the inboard end lap belt on. It is one of these, I can't remember which one, but I can look tonight and let you know and also dig up the specs on the eyebolt (and also a bushing I think so the OEM seat belt mount would pivot freely) I got the hardware from Schroth and I can find the order. https://www.bkauto.com/category_s/116.htm https://www.schrothracing.com/produc...-brackets#2473 https://www.schrothracing.com/produc...eye-bolts#2464 Let me send you some photos.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I looked and discovered already have the eyebolt for the outboard side; it came with my DAS Sport roll bar
