Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 03 C4S was lowered and set up for track work, I've already been there and done that so restoring this car to factory for street use. It was lowered properly, with Elephant Racing rear solid subframe bushes etc. I want to get the factory rear subframe bushings back in for noise isolation etc. and noted Porsche doesn't sell the bushes separately, so $2k a side! I've found some on eBay, a lot of work to take a gamble on a used part. Another option is PowerFlex. Anyone have much experience with these? I'd rather have rubber again but installing these would be relatively simple. Thanks for any insight.

POST 2Original post

I would check with DC Auto or LA Dismantler for used ones. If your car has the gt3 solid spacers they r worth some $ on the used market.

POST 3Original post

I would leave them in. They don't seem to appreciably change the NVH of the car.

No? Its not something I really want to swap out. My past experience with this sort of mod in other cars is weird noise harmonics at some speeds etc.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
