However when you modify the suspension the wheels lines change and a lower off-set will then be necessary if you expect the wheels to line up flush with the body lines.

While these wheels are not the lightest here is how they compare to stock solid twist 18" wheels:
Stock: Front approx 24-lbs Rear approx 30-lbs
This set: Front approx 26-lbs Rear approx 29-lbs.
It's really hard to give an opinion on these wheels without seeing pictures of them mounted on a 996. Surely you have such pictures, can you post them?
They don't look quite right , shouldn't the silver part come out to the lower edge of the petals ?

Looks interesting. You may consider finishing the complete pedals in silver. What I mean is the sides should also be silver to give the wheel more depth. To me, it is a bit flat.
Well these are the only "on the car" photos that we have right now, we were promised photos "on the car" once the customer gets time to put them on and take photos.... we will see. . . .

That sounds exactly like what I had in mind , I thought about your 19" fuch wheels but wanted 18" , glad to see these are out now I'll start saving my pennies

Great looking wheel, WD is very close
I's suggest satin / anodized (think RSR) for the spokes and rim, you seldom see Carreras with shiny / chromed wheels

I really like these, I am always worried they will look to retro. But seeing the pics they look great. originally on the black car I thought the black centres were the best, but seeing these polished ones I ve changed my mind

Anything is possible, just give us enough notice so we can get going on them ahead of time, in November we normally attend the SEMA show which pushes things off by a week or two, normal lead times from 7-10 days are then bumped to 10-20 days.
Deposit in the amount of $500-600 is normal to get going... Hope to see you this fall...
I did custom wheels for one of my Corvettes last Christmas and it was April before I had them delivered, tires mounted and balanced and on the car. I'm patient enough. I only e mailed the vendor once between the initial order and delivery. I know these things take time, and unfortunately more money
. I want bronze for our guards red 996, and I also have bronze wheels on my all black vette. I may even due bronze wheels on my DD truck. I may have to photograph all of them together one day.
interesting look to just chrome the triangular propeller sections against a black background - makes the wheel look very edgy - fresh iteration on style for the uber-classic fuchs
Trust me, When (not if) I get my 996 this will be my first mod once I need a set of tires and all modes of failure are addressed! I have 3 sets of real Fuchs, and will sell two to fund these...
Who makes these wheels? Where are they made? What certifications do they have? They look great in the first photo but the photos of the wheels mounted on the car are either all silver or all black.
