Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The hurricane is coming, I drove to town and back with the top down, home and it only begins to prepare to go up. The hard part moves up but then it stops. Please help SAP! Thanks. Edit, I am back already. It sounded like the solenoid clicks, the back begins to move up then it just stopped. I have been home about 15 minutes and I tried a few more times. I trued to pull it up but no success there. Then I tried the electric again and it went up. I am happy but would like to know what to do next time it does not go up? I was waiting for this to occur!

POST 2Original post

Time to educate yourself on how to check the hydraulic fluid and to look at your cylinders to see if they are leaking/seals blown out. This has been covered ad nauseam so no need to do it here.

Low hydraulic fluid - check the hydraulic reservoir - is it leaking under your car in the back? 2). Hydraulic cylinders (2) can be leaking causing the top to not operate. 3). The pump / motor

I just got out of the life saving hospital! The top is working fine (I was told it had the cylinders repaired before I bought it) don't really know the date though. It is working fine now after the inside cloth got torn lose with a Velcro strap. Guess it got wedged in the frame.
