I don't want to sound like I'm dissuading you from your project, but I bought an OEM cubby to replace the CD holder for $108.00.

With prices around $300 bucks, its probably cheaper to run than my hp laser printer.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Picked up a elagoo centauri printer. It is as easy to run as talked about. Highly recommend anybody on the fence about 3d printing to go for it. With prices around $300 bucks, its probably cheaper to run than my hp laser printer.
I really want to print the upper console cubby I have been wanting to get for a while. The cd holder is purely decorative at this point.
anybody have the 3d printer file? I noticed a couple of folks selling the 3d printed versions on eBay, so I know its out there. Id be willing to Venmo a couple of bucks to anybody willing to share the file, as thats the secret sauce after all.
kinda wild this printing world.
highly recommend the leap.
Thingiverse is good, also cults3d.
Plus dont forget you can just google Porsche stl and heaps pop up.
I've printed lots of bits for my 911, tow hitch plugs, gt3 console delete and head unit surround etc etc

Installation was very easy. Makes me wonder why people are keeping the CD holders? It's a convenient place to put a mobile phone.
Prices may have gone down, since I got my OEM cubby just recently for $69+tax and shipping=$86.25 from Suncoast:

it comes with the little rubber insert too, which is nice.
Im all for 3D printing things though. Ive got a Prusa Mk3S+ and its been great. I am considering designing a cover for the CD holder area with an opening for my aftermarket TPMS display.
Dont get me wrong, I ordered the cubby from suncoast already, but at the end of the day its just a piece of plastic i could print for a dollar or less. The 3d printer versions i have seen are pretty good copies. And its just a fun project to try. But yes, Just buying the part is easy, not that expensive yadda yadda yadda
I would pay someone to 3D print this grey plastic sunroof piece for me.
Not sure how youd make the file, but mine is broken on one side and missing. It keeps the interior sunroof cover from bouncing up and down when you hit a bump.
