Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I just installed the ECS Tuning "flush" kit on my 996.1 and am happy with the results.

Only went with ECS because I changed size needs and the Amazon were out of stock for the size I required.

I ran Amazon spacers with bolts and ECS - both functioned.

Ohlins road and track at their recommended ride height, or close to it after corner balance.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
I am trying to find the best spacer setup for my 996. I'm not taking the car to the track, the car has its original coilovers and orignal wheels (18''). The spacers purpose is only the looks. Will 15mm spacers in the back and front be too much? Maybe another setup?
Thanks in advance for your input
HR 15mm front and rear, no problems. Could probably go 18mm on 996.2 but haven't tried. May go to Elephant and get a couple of their 1 mm spacers and see.
Anybody that sells spacers should be able to tell you what length lugs to buy. If you want to go exotic, you can get titanium lugs.
I run wheel studs. Arguably its easier if you track your car for tire changes. Keep in the back of your mind that wheel studs and even non-oe lugs won't have a lock on them. So you run the risk of coming out of a building and finding your wheels gone. So I am very careful where I take my car and how long I leave it without the locks.
But yes, widen the stance. It looks killer.
I am not a fan of wheel bolts and prefer studs . However in a perfect world the exposed studs would be covered by the lug nut . Exposed stud threads is fine for race inspection but not the look I want on the street . And I agree I think most wheel thieves will laugh at wheel locks . I hate thieves 😡
FWIW, I just picked up a set of Acer Titanium wheel studs and nuts. Studs have a smooth nose on them. You can pick between 70 or 80 mm depending on how big your spacers are to control if threads show or not. Should look good with Carerra wheels.

Sorry - I lied. Looked back and those were 225 fronts.
This likely won’t help a lot for ride height but it’s the best I got. Best bet is to look up the Ohlins spec for PN POZMI00
How's this setup going for you? I'm looking for a nice wheel spacers setup for 18" Turbo-look wheels on 235/40 and 265/35 Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 tires.
