Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Now if I could just find a leather-covered example of that upside-down horshoe piece that surrounds the radio and climate control on the dash to replace the plastic one I've got.

Took a gamble with those wheels, but decided to order them from France, as they had the last silver set I could find.

My only remaining decision (for the moment) is whether to use the silver crest caps you see on the RG-5s.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi-
I wanted to post a couple pics of my new car to the community here. I've been really impressed by the quality of the conversations on these forums, everyone is so helpful and kind--a really nice corner of the internet.
So, here's the car as I bought it, with about 29000 miles on it:
Lowered with H&R springs and Champion RG-5s.
Here's the car today, with about 30,000 on it:
New Fuchs wheelset (modern take on the classic 5 spoke), returned to stock springs and ride height.
Used to ride like the tires were made of hard plastic (I exaggerate)--now it is much smoother, which I, my 7 year old daughter, and my fiance all really like!
Took a gamble with those wheels, but decided to order them from France, as they had the last silver set I could find. Didn't know if I liked them when I first saw them but am now convinced I did the right thing. I'm sure opinions will differ here and I welcome them! My only remaining decision (for the moment) is whether to use the silver crest caps you see on the RG-5s.
Got feedback? Love to hear it! Now if I could just find a leather-covered example of that upside-down horshoe piece that surrounds the radio and climate control on the dash to replace the plastic one I've got. Oh yeah, and a full leather center console... and ...

PS sorry the fotos are so HUGE
I love the wheels. I had wondered how they would look on a 996, and I think it is great. I prefer a bit lower ride height, but its your car, and you should have it the way you like. Congrats on a very nice ride.
No worries, man! It's all about the intent, which I know was good. Your thoughts about wheel color were interesting to me, btw, though it costs a ton to paint wheels (or anything) properly I've heard...
Yeah, it was (and is) in great condition, I was lucky though I think I paid a bit too much for it I think (but everyone probably says that
). I live in MN and bought the car thinking I will drive year round. I've already taken it through a regular car wash many times... Sacrilege!!

I bought a low mileage C4S as well but condition, color and options are a lot more important than saving a few dollars to me. Low mileage C4S are getting rare. Finding the exact one you like if you are picky is worth every penny. I have kept these standards with every 911 I have every purchased and never regretted paying more for the right car.
